Metro Pool Operations Update - Drop-off Fee Effective Feb 1, 2019
TRAC Metro Pool Customers:
Effective February 1, 2019, any chassis picked up from a TRAC Metro Pool Start/Stop location in New Jersey must be returned to a valid Start/Stop location in New Jersey. A $250.00 drop-off fee will be billed to motor carriers for any chassis originating out of a New Jersey location that is returned to GCT New York (formerly NYCT) on or after this date.
Chassis directed by GCT New York to the wheeled area of the terminal upon in-gate will not be subject to the drop-off fee so long as the motor carrier provides TRAC Customer Support (customerservice@tracintermodal.com) with the inbound TIR from GCT New York.
To reuse a bare chassis at GCT New York, please use release number: NYCT1000.
